If the Rogers network offers decent coverage where you live, the most logical explanation is faulty hardware, since Speakout is simply piggy-backing their system. However, the fact that *both* phones are dodgy is a bit confusing. After using Speakout for several years, I can honestly say that it's been rock solid.

Thanks for the comments. The thing I don't understand is that it sometimes works, but the only reliable calls are cell to landline. Any call to the cell - from either landline or cell - will more likely than not go to voicemail, but do sometimes work. I am beginning to wonder if at least one of the phones isn't flakey, as it seems to be hers that is the most trouble. Anyway, I guess a call to a CSR is needed.

Call Speakout and explain the problem to a CSR. It's probably a configuration issue if calls go straight to voicemail.
