thanks bridonca,
I have a 403 number at the moment and when I hold the cells "1" button it dials +14039789990 and voicemail is right there, just enter your passcode. I was hoping to get the same kind of set up but for Nova Scotia for when I change to a 902 number in a week or two.
Of course, I'll ask customer service about all this when I actually change numbers but it is always best to be "pre-informed" when dealing with customer service. I used the official website to submit these questions as well, but have not heard back. Again thanks, maybe a Nova Scotian has experiences to share.

Speakout never really had the option to access voice mail through another number. There was once a hack where you could use Rogers voice mail numbers to access Speakout voice mail accounts, but as far as I know, that loophole has long been closed.

Your only real option to access your Speakout voice mail cheaply is to use an phone that has a good long distance plan. Just dial your speakout number, press # when you hear the voice, and punch in your password.
