Yea that step isn't necessary... but if you don't then you'll have to wait for about 10 sec because of the ringing.

Yeah....man. I realized that too late. But not a BIG deal 🙂

Mm....switching the cell phone off........that step is not necessary........right? (from what you said)

You can do all that from any landline without charge. Turn of your cellphone. Call your cellphone from the landline. When VM answers press #, type in your password and do what you need to do.

Hey guyz.............one thing newbies (to 7-11) may wanna watch out against.

I don't know......maybe this is something I should have known.........but anyways I wasted about 2 dollars on this.

I knew that checking my voice message from the cell would cost me airtime. But I was just setting up my NAME, PASSWORD, GREETING etc (got the phone few days ago and using it for the first time). I did that........and viola....more than a dollar GONE!! ('coz I spent time repeating, polishing, editing my "greeting").

I surely assumed it would be free ('coz it is JUST THE SETTING UP).

Later, I didn't know how I lost my balance. So I checked various things (left a message on the cell, checked the message from home phone etc). None of those cost me a cent.

Finally, I changed my greeting again......and lost 20 cents again!

So newbies (like me).........watch out!

Aside from this mishap, happy with 7-11.

Any comments would be appreciated!~
