More info on the tracking device would be needed before I could tell you if it would work or not. If the tracking device can send and receive data by HTTP or HTTPS, and can accept APN and proxy settings, you might be on to something. I use Google Latitude on my Nokia E71, and it can be used for tracking. Obviously not the same thing, but the concept is the same. You would need a $10 a month data plan though.

Would I be able to use a SO SIM and get pay as you go data for my tracking device?
It only uses about 2-3 MB a month of data. If this is possible what is the cheapest pay as you go rate i should be buying? Thanks
