In Canada, you (or the Sender trying to email you from the web to your 7/11 Cell Phone) can go to the Rogers 2-way Message Centre at:

http://websms.rogers.page.ca/2way/

There is a step for new users to create & register a Chat Handle and enter an email address (or ph no.) and First and Last Name in the blanks, but other than that, *no* cost ....

I tried to send a message from that service to my 7/11 Speakout and it worked okay.

(I also copied and saved the URL as a template and contact listing on my cell, So if I send out a message from my cell to an email address (using the ten-digit 0000000000 method described on another thread), I will let them know they can go directly to that site and email me back at my cell no. -- when they receive my message, it has my telephone no. as the return ID, so they will know what my cell no. is.)
