Regarding area codes and long distance (in BC) | Technical service details | Consumer forum

While the 778 area code is BC wide the 250 area code is specific to certain areas of BC.

If calling (when within BC) to other areas of BC (without a LD plan) would the cost (using phones with these two different area codes) always be the same, regarding what would be a local call, versus what would be considered as long distance.
