wow, how come I never heard about DCI telecom. They have REALLY good rates compared with the big companies. I mean their plans value at 10c/min or less.
Is this a new company? I wish I knew about them before going to Fido 2.5 years ago.

Forgot to ask if they are Canada wide available?

Why not go with a GSM service provider instead of Virgin Wireless if you really want to keep using your GSM phone?

DCI Telecom has good rates. For $20 you can get 250 minutes/month (but you have to pay extra for voicemail and call display).

You will have to call SO and ask.

(My guess is that they will be happy to assign a new number to your old SO SIM however you will have lost any airtime balance when you ported your old number to Virgin.)

My monthly airtime usage has outgrown 95 minutes / month threshold. I am considering moving to Virgin Mobile ($20/mth for 200 minutes pre-paid plan)

When porting of my 7-11 cell # completes, the 7-11 phone will have no telephone number assign to it... I would like to be able to use 7-11 phone ... will SpeakOut customer service be able to assign different telephone number? Is there a charge for this?
