I am looking to port my number over from MTS and I am unsure of the correct order I should do everything in. The contract recently expired so I am now month to month; I can cancel on 30 days notice. So, should I call MTS and cancel and then port over the number since it'll be active for another 30 days or should I port the number over and then call MTS and cancel?

Speak out customer support wasn't sure. Does anyone have any advice? I would be much appreciative for any help!!
