Hi,

I was trying to port my P-Cda Mobile number, whose minutes expired on Dec. 10, to my new SO phone. I was told by SO that the number is inactive and could not be ported, even if I am within 45 days of losing the number. I was told I had to put money in the P-Cda phone, then port it to SO (thereby losing whatever money I would put in and know I won't use anyway). Does this sound right to you? Minimum I could add on P-Cda is $15.

Thanks.

Yes, that sounds right. Your PC account has to be active (money MUST be in it) for the number to be ported. SpeakOut can not port a number from an account that is expired. It has to be active. That's why whenever you port a number, always make sure there is some sort of a balance on the former account.
