It seems to be possible to unlock your your Virgin Mobile Canada Blackberry 9300, but you would need to pay a 3rd party unlocker to do it. Once the phone is unlocked, it should work with Speakout.

no. virgin is on bell network and the phone is usually locked and no way to unlock them. Why I said speakout's policy is better in the review is that now speakout is doing the unlocking free if you ask.

Unless of course you find some other unlock source on say ebay.

today i just called speakout cs about porting my number from virgin mobile. she said it wouldn't be a problem and it could take up to 48 hrs to complete the port. i am currently on the supertab. to my understanding i have to just pay the tab and the final bill. my question is will i be able to use the blackberry 9300 with speakout? i don't want to see a good phone go to waste? thank you for your time
