I know you said no but perhaps consider the Acer liquid z220 unlocked dual sim phone for $69 with a $50 voucher or for $89. Too bad you missed the $39 deal with $100 voucher. Seems to be a good phone for me, unlocked and dual sim.

Unfortunately, no. You can not transfer airtime from one phone to another, or get a credit/refund for the airtime on the phone.

You can not retain any balance once your number is ported. Once you port the number over to another provider, the balance will be gone, and the account will be cancelled.

Has anyone try to port a number from speakout, to another provider, and then back? Are you able to retain your account balance? Due to work, I need to be 'on call' for up to a year. Instead of carrying a 2nd phone (or go out and buy a dual sim card phone), I am planning to port my personal number over to my company plan. However I m not sure if I will be able to port the # back to speakout and keep my account balance. I do have over $100 on my account and would not want to let that go to waste.
