<p>It can be a good feature, but not a biggie for me. If someone calls my phone while it's off, they can always leave a message.</p>

<p>I asked several questions.<br />
One question I asked was, if you call someone and their phone is turned off, will they get a notification that they missed a call when they turn their phone on?</p>
<p>I was told it wasn't possible.</p>
<p>I just got back from a trip to Eastern Europe.<br />
I used SIM cards in several countries there and I always received notifications of missed calls (date and time) when I turned my phone back on.</p>
<p>Is this something that is unique to Europe or is this now available in North America?</p>
