Yes. Just give customer service a call. They'll be able to fix it for you.

Ok thank you very much.

Hello,
I have just purchased a SO phone a few days ago and managed to register for a number. I live in Surrey, BC but the area code I was given is for Alberta (587) Is it possible to ask for a number change?
I was able to activate SO with my home phone when I first got it and tried calling it today from my home phone. Apparently I think the landline considers my SO long distance, and that the landline doesn't have. I keep getting the message "The number you have called cannot be completed as dialed".
I got SO mainly for emergency use since I rarely have the need to contact anyone but if I cannot even make a call from my house phone then it is kind of useless?
Can calling customer service have them change my area code and number?
