OfflineSo I live in Ottawa, where there are no 7-11 stores. I'm in need of a plan, so I decided to go for 7-11. I hear that you can buy $25 of airtime and then call Customer Care for a SIM to get it shipped. So My friend went on a trip to london so i got them to stop by at a 7-11 and pick up two $25 vouchers of airtime. When they got there and asked, the cashier said "for what kind of phone." (or something along those lines.) my friend said nokia (with a puzzled face), but the cashier wouldn't give them airtime because it has to be for the right phone or something and theres no refund.
Anyways, I'm stuck as to what should i tell my friend when they try to get airtime at a different 7-11 store in London. Honestly, I didnt think it would be this difficult.
Anyways, any help is appreciated

OfflineThe clerk should not care what phone, and it's none of her business. I would try another store, or get another clerk at that store. It's wrong (and possibly illegal) for her to refuse sale.
Maybe the clerk just wanted to know what wireless service you were buying airtime for, since 7-Eleven sells airtime for multiple wireless companies.
