on my speakout phone, the code pin request is set to "off", whereas, the code pin2 request is set to "on". This is how it came out of the new packaging. Does anyone know what this means? do I protect my sim with the codePin2 or codePin?
thankyou

the internet may be confusing. I am trying to understand the settings options.

from a T Mobile site (USA), document tm51982, they say the code for the NOkia 2760 is 1234
but from nokia forums (USA), http://www.nokiausa.com/get-su.....ons/boards , they say the code is 12345

hi, can anyone help?
I purchased the nokia 2760. I haven't set any codes yet because i am afraid to. This is what I want to do.
a) protect the sim (if my phone gets lost).
b) protect phone (if my phone gets lost.)

Sorry for bothering you folks, but the user manual is lacking. I am lost: Security code, PIN code, Puk code, Pin2 code, Puk2 code, Calling restrictions... Surfing the net for hours (literally) didn't reveal the answer.
Does anyone know how do you do this? The user manuals don't show what the default codes are. (Are there default codes?) or Can I just start punching in the password that I want to use?

Thanks for now,
Alison (almost in tears)
