Either you meet the seller and test the SIM in your phone (e.g. by calling 611 to get remaining credit) or you trust the seller

Thanks Bylo

I'm considering purchasing a used SO or PC SIM card. From what I've been reading, cards get discontinued if inactive or the number is ported elsewhere. Does this apply also when airtime runs out? How can I tell if the card is still good before I send payment?

Can someone help with an answer?
