No data access of course, just voice.

As long as its unlocked, your 7-11 speakout sim card should work ok. The only problem is I dont think 7-11 speakout has any data plan of any kind that I know of, so although you will be able to make and recv calls, you wont be able to use your Treo for surfing the web or checking your email, because those services requires a data connection.
sadly, Canada has one of the most expensive data rates in the world. 🙁

Was originally leaning towards a Blackberry but now I'm off towards the Palm Treo 650. Anyone used there palm with a 7-11 sim card. Its Quad band so easy for Europe plus I found out you can use the Palm as a GPS device..What a bonus..Any help would be appreciated
