Interesting...there must be a time limit (somewhere between 2 and 12 days) for how long "pending" text msgs are held.

You're right; it's different now. This all happened for me at the beginning of Sept before the free inbound texts change.

I turned off my phone at the airport before I left on vacation and I know that my friend texted me at least once while it was off. By the time I came back (12 days later) and turned the phone on again, no text msgs were waiting for me and as far as I can tell, my balance was down.

Does SO do this too, or do I just never get the message, or is there a time limit that the system will wait?
