Call forwarding is important to me since I forward my personal cellphone number to my work cellphone number (so that I only need to carry one phone). I am still on a regular monthly plan for my personal number which is pretty expensive considering I don't use a single minute on the phone. My provider charges $2 for call forwarding that allows for 3000 minutes free of forwarded calls (which is way below what I use anyways). Prepaid is an inexpensive way to keep my personal cellphone number.

Don't really understand why one would want this feature. Most prepaid plans charge you air time for forwarded calls. You have no way of filtering calls at the forwarded number...

I could make the same argument about cellphones in general. You have no control over who calls you and the cell providers make money off you every time someone calls your number, whether you want to talk to them or not.

So how much is not missing calls when you're out of SO range (e.g. out of Canada) worth to you?

You have no way of filtering calls at the forwarded number. It may be just me but I found it a pain to forward and then unforward my number when I had it.
I see "call forwarding" as just a way for the wireless companies to bill more minutes.
Am I missing something here?

Just called a CSR regarding call forwarding. I was told that call forwarding is not available. Does anyone know when this feature will be available in the future?
