Search on Ebay. There are probably a dozen similar phones to the Keybo, some even in cool colours your daughter will like.

Just make sure it's unlocked (or locked to Rogers) and that it is a GSM phone that works with at least the 850 and 1900 mHz bands.

I believe the Keybo is only offered here by Telus. This means that it is a non-GSM phone and won't work with the SpeakOut (aka Rogers) GSM system.

However, if you can track down an UNLOCKED GSM version of the phone, it will work.

My teenage daughter really wants a Keybo. If I bought a used one (say from Craigslist), what are the chances it would work on SO? She says she mostly wants to use it for texting, and likes the slide out keyboard of the Keybo, plus it's "cool"!

Any other suggestions for an affordable keyboard phone to use with SO? Thanks.
