        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Technically there is no difference between 416 and 647.  Both are used for Toronto and cover the identical area for local calls.</p>
<p>Since 416 was used for this area the longest some consider it to be slightly more prestigious to have this as an area code.</p>
