Perhaps others can chime in on this issue. I'm not familiar with what you were told.

The phone should work in Europe because it supports standard GSM frequencies.

However, the salesperson told me that, "the phone is unlocked here in Canada, but you will have to unlock it again to use in another country".

Does that mean that I need to unlock it twice somehow? If so, how?

And does anybody know if it will actually work in Russia?
