Just picked up the 1600 on the $100 deal. Previously had a reconditioned phone from Radio Shack and was fighting with Rogers pay as you go. Having to keep track of when the month expires and then top up the absolute minimum was painful (although now it seems they have a 365 day 100$ offer). Anyways, the phone from rogers blew big time and wouldnt hold a charge > 10 minutes. No way to easily get a new battery and you couldnt hear the caller in the spearker (Motorola C200?). Tried to stay with Rogers but they just want to sell you a new phone for 80$. How do you spell scam? 7-11 seems to be really efficient with an easy and no-personal-information-required startup. It also seems that 7-11 has good customer service, so I am optimistic about my cell-phone-future, and may even get a 2nd phone.
