I bought a phone for myself 2-3 months ago when they had the free phone deal going and was so impressed I decided to buy one for my son. I went to the 7-11 yesterday and asked the manager when they were going to have another special. He asked me "Do you want one now?" I said yes and he gave me the free phone deal. Aren't 7-11's franchised? I think the owners can sell at their descretion. I live in the states - it may be different.
