i bought a SO phone today and am using it with my Rogers sim card for now because my contract is not up ti'll the beginning of November.

can i wait ti'll the end of october to activate the SO sim and still get a referral code? or does the referral code have to be used closer to the date of the phone purchase?

FYI: anyone living in the GTA there is one nokia 5130 left in Ajax ( i bought the second last one)
