I would dump the Telus Siemens se567 and ask for a newer modem. They gave me a Actiontec V1000H VDSL2 modem and now my phone works. Do not set it for 128 bit security.

1. Update your phone with a usb cable and your computer using Nokia Suite.
2. Go to the Nokia website and search your C3-00 Wi-Fi settings. (they do work)
3. Try a new modem or try other Wi-Fi spots.
4. Unfortunately the C3-00 is very picky. Not all Wi-Fi's will work.

I can log into some networks without problems (e.g. hotspots at coffee shops) but I can't get my home network to work with my C3. I tried both WEP and WPA encryption but neither would work. I also assigned C3's MAC address to the router as lazyacer suggests above but it will still not work.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

funny thing i have no problem connecting to public wifi hot spots or the wireless network where i work, just my home for some reason needed the mac to connect.

You can only use the 5 character version(or 10 ASCII number version). This must be a pretty old router. Get a newer router.

My password is 7 lowercase letters. If I type 13 characters it attempts to connect but the password is obviously wrong. So aside from changing my password on my router and about a dozen devices, what can I do?
