Lots of us are using iPhones with speakout and petrocan. Your best bet I to find a Rogers iPhone as you can pop the sim in and go. No jailbreaking or unlocking required.

Hello,
I am in the market for a used iphone and am wondering if anyone out there currently runs an iphone with the sim card from Petrocanada.
It has a great phone only program quite similar to Virgin's phone pay as you go program.
I would use the phone part of the iphone infrequently but want to be able to browse the internet from any open router or at home from our own system.
Just curious.
Many, many thanks to Peter, the owner of this site for putting me on to thinking and researching another cheaper , no contract provider.
If you have tried buying a sim card from a kiosk in Ottawa, you will notice that they want to immediately sign you up to a contract before selling the sim card. Hum!
Linda, new to this site.
(Near Ottawa, Ontario)
