Using a locked to Rogers LG EVE with speakout?

Will I have to find someone to unlock this phone or will it work with speakout simply by putting my speakout SIM into it?

I would also unlock the phone for future convenience regardless if is there a forum recommended place to buy unlock codes.

I would guess this phone would just work with Speakout without having to do anything. I do not have any first hand experience though.

I have used http://www.mobileincanada.com to unlock phones. I have been a customer of http://www.visionmobile.ca also. I have used http://theremoteunlocker.com/ also.

Thanks you very much for the links. I just picked up the phone (used for $75) and as you figured I just put the SIM card in and it worked. I went ahead and bought an unlock code from theremoteunlocker for $10 just in case I find myself in the USA and want to pick up a SIM card for easy usage.

Now to buy an extra 711 SIM card, and figure out how to use this thing!

Hey there, I have an LG eve also, some how firt of all, I can't make my lg conect to the computer thrpugh the LG tool you can download from the LG webpage, second of all, I went for a speakout sim card and worked fine for the calling and texting matter, but not with the web browsing, what's your experience so far with your phone?
