Well looks like you can put a speakout simcard into a rogers phone and it will work.
Did anyone tried putting a speakout simcard in a fido phone ?
I had a fido phone but I had it unlocked, a motorola v360. I went to a store called orange wave or something like that in granville and 64th. They did it in 5 mins, it costs me 10 bucks that was 1 year ago so not sure if its still the same price.
obviously since speakout is GSM it will only work on a fido or rogers phone which are all GSM. So speakout wont work on Bell, Virgin, President Choice, Telus and other CDMA phones.

I don't have any other phone or sims to try it with.

If you do the online unlock as above, do you choose Rogers, since 7/11 isn't on the dropdown lists?

An exception is the Nokia E62 (Fido or Rogers versions), which works with both Fido and Rogers SIMs. Thus, SpeakOut SIM will work with a Fido E62.
