It's done now. I ended up trying 3-4 different websites. The only one that could do it was 650unlock.com. I was a bit leery because you have to download their app onto your phone, run it, and then send in the code/key it generates, in order for them to provide the unlock code but it all worked fine.

I think using a code much more easier than the process you used to unlock.

I've been trying to get my Palm Treo 650 phone unlocked with little success. Has anyone out there done this before? One unlock website says that Rogers can't find my IMEI on their system and as a result, the website can't unlock my phone. Rogers claims that someone must have bought this phone outright and never activated it on the Rogers network (I know for a fact that the phone was bought from Rogers and that it was on their network for 2 years.) or that it's never been a Rogers phone period (hello? there's the big Rogers splash screen when you turn on the phone). Grrr

I also confused by how unlocks work. Why do these unlock sites even need to know who the carrier/network was anyways? Shouldn't they just take my IMEI number, run it through some unlock code generator/calculator and give me an unlock code?
