I seem to have all the issues ironed out now regarding making calls. However now whenever I access the internet, it seems to be using data only, even though I have wifi preferred in my settings. I have a good wifi network at home and at work. And the proper wifi id names appear on the top of my BBerry. Yet when I use the internet I can see I am being billed on my Speakout account.
Any thoughts?

Which blackberry are you using?

A few years ago I had a Rogers 8900 from work. When I was connected to a WiFi network it would place calls through wifi instead of the mobile network using UMA. Maybe you can see if there are any UMA settings you can turn off since I highly doubt Speakout is compatible with this.

I don't know what's happening here. Now today every time I call the land line it fails, even though I had it working last night... The only changes I have made are to WiFi and Bluetooth connection parameters.
Why can't I call home?

So I bought a SIM and some minutes from 7-Eleven. The Blackberry is locked to the Rogers network. I think I have activated the SIM correctly, as I was assigned a phone number from the Speakout web site. I called 611 to enable call/text receiving. So far so good. Then I tried to call my land line, no luck, it just disconnects. Any idea what's wrong here?
Also I can't call the Blackberry from the land line, "number is not available at this time".
