Actually overage would be at $0.10/Mbyte, the same rate as the base 100 Mbytes, according to https://www.speakout7eleven.ca/prepaid-cell-phone-rates Data tab. But yes, a lot of use would be expensive. It's dangerous to connect iDevices on a cellular data plan due to their expensive habit of doing a lot of background sync.

Even though I was kinda frugal using the data plan, I can see how it would take no time to use up 100MB.
All I basically did was to experiment a little connecting my iPod, iPad and iPhone and checked for a few emails.
Since I got the WiFi hotspot set up I have used 34MB and still have 24 days to go. I believe any overage would be $ 0.50 per 1 MB.
Good thing this is NOT my primary internet connection.

I bought a SO SIM card with some time on it and 2 days ago finally bought into the SO data plan.

A fellow member on this board sold me a Novatel MiFi 2372. So now having a card with a data plan on it I set out to get it to work. Working at it yesterday for some time and again today, it took me until earlier this evening to finally get it to work. The member had used it and had entered some settings info into the 2372 and the d a m n thing would always default to that setting. Someting like Pinochio and roaminternet.com. What finally worked I really do not know but after making several changes along the way all of a sudden it connected to the intenet.

Of course there would be NO help from SO, but settings that were posted here did the trick.

APN= rogers-core-appnl1.apn and PW= wap were the settings that worked. Strangely enough no port settings needed and would have been impossible to set up since there are no provisions for settings like that in the 2732.

Always a good feeling when you accomplish something!
