(It was on sale for $79.99.) They only had one in stock, and it wasn't charged up, so I couldn't easily try out my SpeakOut SIM in it at the store. However, they said I could return it within 15 days as long as I didn't activate the Rogers SIM, which I wasn't planning on doing anyway. The SpeakOut SIM works fine, and the phone is pretty good! I have not yet had a chance to try out WiFi or the data plan.

It does not seem to matter if it was sold as a Chatr/FIDO/Rogers phone. You are best to take your foreign SIM to the store and try it out to make sure though.
