I've got a basic plan with 7-11 with the free incoming text messages.

I've tried to have my hotmail account send a real time text message to my phone everytime a specific message comes in. It worked off and on in the past, but on sending a reconfirming text message to the phone from the website, it never comes through.

Would this form of text messaging fall under the category of 'short code' text messaging in that 7-11 blocks it?, and only accepts free incoming text messages that are based/ come from (xxx)xxx-xxxx {ie real people} phones?
