Most newer Fido phones tend to work with carriers that exclusively use Rogers towers. But try before you buy to make sure.

As for voice mail and SMS, those services should work on most unlocked GSM telephones out of the box.

As in a previous post, I'm looking at the Nokia X2, which Fido carries.

The official website suggests that these features, and SMS would be primary reason to even buy a SIM, might not work -- or at least aren't supported.
