And be aware that in the cell phone industry, everyone charges for incoming calls. There is no escaping that one.

If it is not done within a certain time frame, the account gets deactivated. Always good to check at least once a month or so if the account is still active, and to see how exactly how much money is still on the account.

Hi
I purchased a sim last aug/sept 2015 and minutes for $25. did not know that incoming calls there is a fee.
The year expiry which was april 7 2016

when i used SO along with my long distance provider it depleted my account and i had about $7 left after making one call.

I had not used it since last sept 2015 and now in march 2016 i went to use and wanted to see the no. of minutes left. But an error message came up.
i phoned the cust service no. and she said usually when it is not used for long and not much minutes are left for the emergency 911 - 1.25 per month then the no. becomes no longer in use.
So now the sim is no longer in service. Asked me to go and get a new sim for $10.

I thought it had a 12 month expiry date ???
