Hi,

Just got an iPhone 3G from Factory Direct and am trying to set up voicemail. Can anyone tell me the Speakout voicemail number for Ottawa? I tried using 613-421-6245, but when I enter my cell phone number at the prompt (from my landline), nothing happens and then I get three beeps and the call drops.

Any insight appreciated.

Thanks!

Calling from area code 519 to area code 416 (and vice versa) is not long distance with SpeakOut Wireless.

Really? That's great. Just wondering why it's not long distance because it is on other wireless carriers.

How can the voicemail button on the iPhone be automatically setup so that I press the voicemail button to hear my messages?

I tried the set up below which works with the Toronto # and it setup my voicemail so I only had to enter my access code. But is there a 519 number? I want to avoid the Toronto # this because it's long distance.

Setup example, dial:
*5005*86*1 (416) 274-2817*my cell#

BC:
+1 (604) 418-3471
Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba:
+1 (403) 561-3172
+1 (403) 714-1188
Ontario:
+1 (416) 274-2817
+1 (416) 357-3229
+1 (416) 358-1549
Quebec & Maritimes:
+1 (514) 827-1251

Are there any numbers for the 519 (London) area code?

Currently I have this setup: I press the voicemail button, hear the Rogers Wireless welcome, then I'm required to dial my own cell #, then my access code. But it's annoying to have to enter in your cell # when I just want to press my access code to hear my voicemail.

Setup example, dial:
*5005*86*519 204-6245*my cell#

Other cities:
Barrie (ON) 705 252-6245
Toronto (ON) 416 901-6245
Brantford: (ON) 519 304-6245
Kitchener-Waterloo (ON) 519 208-6245
London(ON) 519 204-6245
Newmarket (ON) 905 235-6245
Orangeville, Guelph (ON) 519 307-6245
Oshawa, (ON) 905 240-6245
Ottawa (ON) 613 421-6245
Fredericton (NB) 506 206-6245
Moncton (NB) 506 204-6245
Saint John (NB) 506 214-6245
St. John's (New Foundland) 709 237-6245

Thanks
