You can definitely load ringtones via Bluetooth onto the 2760. Unfortunately, as posted elsewhere, you have to use Nokia's software to convert your MP3s into AMR files first. After that, you connect via Bluetooth and use File/Windows/whatever Explorer to drag and drop files back and forth.

Dunno if pix work the same way but I would assume so; after that, they're just files as well.

Good luck!

According to Nokia, the 2760 does not have the necessary internal software to manage a connection to a computer via that USB connector. However, the phone is equipped with BLUETOOTH capabilities, so that is the recommended way to get photos onto your computer. I consider it a 'big clue' that Nokia does not sell a connector cable in its accessory section for phones that can't use one. 🙂

While I am here, if anyone has a 2760 running Bluetooth, I would be interested to know if you can also load ringtones (or photos) FROM the computer via that connection or is the connection strictly one-way from the phone to the computer?

Hi there. For my Nokia 2760 phone, there's a description of the "outlets" at the bottom of the phone....#7 is the Charger Connector...and #8 i sthe Headset Connector and then there is a connections in between #7 & #8 that appears to be a cable that would connect from my phone to the USB of my computer (much like my kids ipod)....however, on page 3 of my Nokia quick start guide, it states "Do not touch this connector as it is intended for use by authorized service personnel only."

Is this bogus & I can use this connector to save my pictures to the compute?
