I dropped by The Source and the pay as you go Propel is $99 and $75 if you get month by month and then cancel (this means you pay $20 for the first month). So it's still around $99 but I feel it's a better phone than a Hype so I picked one up and will be returning the Hype.

Today I was at Scarborough Town Centre, and The Source is now selling them for $75, but their website still says $299.99 (!)

I think it's a better deal than the Samsung Hype - better camera, music player, expandable storage up to 8 GB (microSD). If you switch to Rogers, you can also use 3G, which the Hype lacks.
