Will the Samsung Hype accept a SO SIM card? Does anyone know?

I bought a Hype in the Rogers Paygo package and am using it with my Speakout SIM without any problems. Of course you can't use all the Rogers functions that are on the menus and softkeys such as the internet access.

I like this phone a lot. It has a very nice audio quality and the keyboard makes it easy to create address book entries and messages. I love the size and shape as well.

I am going to try to unlock it so that I can take it overseas,

But if the Hype is locked to the Rogers network it might cause problems (however, even locked Rogers phones worked with SO in the past).
