Hi. I recently just got a Nokia 5800 from Rogers and wanted to use the SIM card from my Speakout Wireless phone. After I inserted the SIM card into the phone and turned it on, I was unable to make a phone call and the contacts list was empty. I can see it says "SpeakOut" on the screen of my phone so it must be reading the SIM card properly.

Do I need to get my phone unlocked and/or unbranded?

Thanks for your help.
