Yes, it's easy to buy a new SIM $10 and call customer service to activate it on an existing account/phone number.

You can gamble and buy one SIM and cut it with scissors... or buy a SIM cutter for another $10 on Ebay and be safe the first attempt at cutting.

I had the same concern before I got my iPhone. I called customer service and asked what happens if I messed up my sim. They told me to buy a new one, but call before it is activated in order to assign it the same number/account. I would call in and have that confirmed for your own comfort. BTW - I used a SIM card cutter and had no problem, therefore didn't have to see if the process worked. Good luck!

I am a new speakout user, having just purchased the holiday phone/sim/$125 airtime deal. I have an old flip phone that I want to use with the account for the next month or so, but my goal is to upgrade to an iphone in the future. I have a fear though. What if I cut my sim to fit the iphone and I ruin it. Will I be able to get a new sim and have it connected to my account with the $100+ balance in it? I guess it would be the same problem if one lost their phone with sim inside. What does Speakout do in these cases?
