I believe all the phones have a 'speaker phone' or 'Loudspeaker' option. I know for sure the Jamma Nokia 5130 and the Nokia flip 2760 have this feature.

Once you're on the call the option to switch to "loud sp" appears in the bottom right. Use this and you'll find the volume is much louder.

I use this feature all the time when I'm in loud public places and the earpiece just isn't loud enough. The only down side is the people directly next to you can hear too 😉

I just bought the 2720 and the highest volume is not that great for my allergy-clogged phone ear nor the better non-clogged ear. I've switched to Outside Profile to see if that will make any difference but that may only affect the ring volume.

Hi all:

I want to buy Mom a replacement phone since she was spending too much on a Bell Mobility one which just died...

She's somewhat deaf, so the louder the handset speaker the better - I mean the speaker that goes next to the ear, not the one announcing the ring...she'll be making the calls 99% of the time.

If you can recommend any Speakout phone that fits the bill, I'd be greatly appreciative!

Thanks,

Jonathan
