my speakout phone no longer works. when i power on, it flashes the message "contact service" and powers itself off.

i'm not going to spend a lot for repair, but i want to be green if possible, and it's a brick now so there's nothing to lose.

it's older than 12 months so there is no warranty. has anyone ever sent a phone to nokia for paid service? was the repair cost worth it?
