I'll answer my own question:

You have unsent, canceled, or failed messages.

Had to go into Messages/Sent and delete a message, that seemed to clear ir.

Hi,

On my Nokia 2760, to the right of the battery-charge-indicator, there is a screen icon that I can't figure out, and it isn't documented in the user guide.

It looks like a wide, flat square U, with an upward-pointing arrow in the center. Does anybody know what this icon represents?
