Problem solved with a call to customer service. CS will reset the local voicemailbox call-in number from their end. This number will appear in the menu under Messaging>Voice Messages>Voice mailbox number.

I wrote the number down in case I had another DOH!

Under voice messages>voice mailbox number I saved *777.
(Yes, I know, hence the DOH!)

I've tried clearing the number, but it won't let me enter all blanks. If I enter just a 1, I get "phone number not valid".
