I also have that problem.

It's not the SIM, it's your phone. You probably see on the screen "Security Code:". Take out your SIM and turn on your phone. You'll see the same screen.

It means that you have set a code on your PHONE. There is no way for Nokia or Speakout to know that code. I am still trying to figure it out and when I called Nokia they told me to send it to repair.

Anyone want to add on to this?

Hey all,

Does anyone happen to know the default security code for the Nokia 2760 SpeakOut phone. I am trying to do a phone reset (*#7780#) and it's prompting for a security code. I googled this and tried the obvious 12345, 1234, 123 and last four digits of phone number. Surprisingly, all those attempts didn't generate the PUC code request so curious if others have run into this. SpeakOut and Nokia are in a "talk to the other" loop which is rather frustrating.
