<p>GSM (2G) HSPA (3G) 1900 MHz Network Update</p>
<p>The decommission of the GSM (2G) HSPA (3G) 1900 MHz network will occur beginning June 7th, 2021.</p>
<p>The older technologies are being phased out (1900 MHz) on our 2G and 3G networks beginning June 7, 2021</p>
<p>What will happen to my GSM (2G) HSPA (3G)  1900 MHz only cellular devices after June 7th, 2021?</p>
<p>Older phones that rely on GSM (2G) HSPA (3G) 1900 MHz to connect to our wireless network will stop working in some areas starting June 7, 2021 with more places to follow.</p>
<p>Some older phones may continue to connect to our network after June 7, 2021 but will not be supported after this date. As we continue to make upgrades to the network, or if you travel to areas that have already been impacted, unsupported phones will stop working as we phase out these older technologies across our network.</p>
<p>Your 7-Eleven SpeakOut Wireless number will remain active as long as your balance does not expire.  We recommend you upgrade your device to ensure uninterrupted service..</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>I only need this for emergency.  NO text, no data NOTHING fancey.  It's an "older" Nokia phone that I purchased from 7-11 but she never used.</p>
<p>In August 2022 will a new SIM card from my local 7-11 work?  I would not want to spend the money and find it would not.</p>
