    • Listing your Cell Phone on the national "Do Not Call" list may have some benefits. There have recently been a couple of huge fines levied against companies and call centers who did not adhere to the rules. That may discourage others from abuse.

    However folks who hide their caller ID with spoofed numbers like "+10000000000" don't care about rules or laws.

    Your SO phone is completely anonymous. there is nowhere that the number is associated with your name unless you ported a number from somewhere else. Nuisance calls to your phone are completely random.

    You must enter the full number for it to work. For instance, if the number you want to screen is:

    289-123-4567

    you have to enter it as:

    +12891234567

    As for outright blocking a number, I'm not sure. I would call customer service and ask.

However, it is a recording message and the caller ID is showing as +10000000000. Some other time, I got a call from what looks like a legit number but when I check the country code on the internet, it's not even used (I forgot what country code it was).

    Anyway, now I want to block this number on my Nokia 1208. Anyone know how to do it? All I can come up is the "No. Screening". What is this anyway? Can I use it to block the call?
