Search and you;ll find my posting from last year!<br />
NO 1234 or whatever!</p>
<p>I need to correct this posting:<br />
There was nothing special needed to use the SO Sim card!<br />
<strong>The website I used was not to set up the phone to work on SO, but it was to use the then available $ 10.00 UMB plan!</strong></p>

<p>I have the same issue. with an iPhone 4S unlocked.</p>
<p>Go to settings &#62; phone &#62; sim lock &#62; turn it on and then enter the code 1234..</p>
<p>If it's incorrect THEN don't try it again or it will lock your sim (This happened to me)</p>
<p>I read on another thread that one guy had the same problem and what fixed it was: He connected his iPhone to iTunes from his computer and it started to work (try this)</p>

All iPhone 4's use a "Micro"<br />
All iPhone 5's uses a "Nano"</p>
<p>If by chance you bought a Nano, it will fit into an iPhone 4, but very loosely and will not work at all.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>It should not take any more than an hour to activate, for most cases, no more than 5 minutes.  I would power down, remove the sim, check to see if there is any contaminants on the SIM, then put the SIM back in and power on.  See what happens.</p>

<p>So a bought a microSIM for my iphone4, followed all the activation prompts correctly and received my new number, but when I put the SIM in and turned my phone back on it says 'No Service'</p>
<p>I've read up that it can take a while for the sim to be activated, how long should I hang out until I need to worry/contact customer support??</p>
